Policies and Procedures

Check-In Time 2:00 P.M.

Check-Out Time 11:00 A.M.

Reservations, Deposits, Cancellations and Changes

These policies are designed to be fair to our customers and take care of our business and staff. Since we are located off major roadways and have little traffic past the resort, we rely on reservations made in advance. Once you make a reservation, your accommodation and/or guide is removed from the market and we decline all other requests. We aim to have a policy that completely protects you, our business & staff.

A deposit of $75 is required to reserve Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. The Penthouse, Riverhouse and Small Lodge require $150 deposit, and Large Lodge requires $250. All deposits are to be paid by credit card, check or cash and are required to guarantee all reservations. The deposit will be credited back on your bill at departure. If using a credit card, the appropriate deposit will be charged immediately. With any cancellation/changes, the deposit will be forfeited. The deposit will cover the cancellation fee unless the reservation falls within the same period specified below. Our policy applies to all reservations even in the event of inclement weather and/or early departure.

Pets are allowed on the resort property and campgrounds subject to our pet policy.

Cottages, Cabins, Camping & RV Site Reservations

Cancellations/changes made 14 to 8 days prior to date of arrival will be charged 50% of the reservation total. All cancellations/changes made within 7 days prior to date of arrival will be charged 100% for the entire reservation total.

Lodge Reservations

Cancellations/changes made 30 to 15 days prior to date of arrival will be charged 50% of the reservation total. All cancellations/changes made within 14 days prior to date of arrival will be charged 100% for the entire reservation total.

Guided Fishing, Packages, Other Excursion Reservations

Cancellations/changes made 14 to 8 days prior to date of arrival will be charged 50% of the reservation. All cancellations/changes made within 7 days prior to date of arrival will be charged for the entire cost of each guide trip and all other excursions.
Note: For your safety and convenience, we require all guided trips be scheduled through our office. Guided trip pricing is charged for the reserved number fishing, even should they quit early. Switching out people on guided trips is not allowed.

Multiple Accommodation Reservations

The required number of days for cancellation/change notice doubles when two or more cabins are reserved.

Weekend and Holiday Minimums

Weekend bookings require a two (2) night minimum stay. Holiday bookings require a three (3) night minimum stay and all three (3) nights will be charged at the regular weekend rate.

Package Deal Disclaimer

Advanced Reservations are required for Package Deals and are subject to availability. Certain safety restrictions apply to boat use. No other discounts apply. Some Package Deals may require additional costs for weekend or cabin upgrades. Cancellation & Change policies do apply even in the event of inclement weather. Pets are allowed on the resort property and campgrounds subject to our pet policy. Tax and gratuities not included. Gift certificates for the average cost of a meal are provided for restaurant meals (guests must pay for any amounts over the gift certificates). No refunds on unused portions of your vacation package. Fishing licenses, trout permits, rods & reels not included except where noted.

Catch & Release

We strongly support the Catch & Release Program and are passionate about preserving the fishing industry for everyone to enjoy, now and in the future. We ask that all trophy trout (24″ or larger) caught by our guests are treated with care and released after weighing in and obtaining photographs. Trophy release pins and printed certificates will be provided complimentary to verify your catch.

Guests Bringing Boats and Motors

Guests may bring their own motors if they wish. For safety reasons we recommend a 15-hp maximum. Boats must be parked in designated areas. This section of the White River is rocky and can be hazardous to boats and motors. Our Jon boats are specially designed for this area.  A free public launch ramp is available one mile upriver at Wildcat Shoals.

Special Requests

Roll-away beds, baby cribs and high chairs will gladly be placed in your cabin prior to your arrival (subject to availability). There is a one-time use fee of $15 for the roll-away beds and $5 each for baby cribs and high chairs.

Fishing Equipment

We have rod/reel rentals for $10.00 a day for spin cast fishing and $25.00 a day for Fly rods. We recommend that you bring your own if you have a medium weight rod.  Although we have a shop on the premises for all your bait & tackle needs, we do not have waders available for rental. You will need to bring your own if you plan to wade fish.

Day Visitors

There is a $10 charge for day visitors. Each visitor must register at the office.

Pets

Sorry, no pets over 40 pounds are allowed on the Resort Grounds. However, bigger pets are allowed at the campground.
There is a$75 non-refundable pet deposit for lodging at the Resort. The campground does not have the pet deposit, however, there is a $5.00/per pet/per day charge (pets are treated as an extra guest and charged accordingly).

Check-In Time

Our check-in time is 2 p.m. If you intend to arrive before 2 p.m., please notify our office, as we will make every effort to have your cabin available for you but cannot guarantee its availability until 2 p.m. If you plan on arriving after 7 p.m., please notify us for late night check-in procedures.

Check-Out Time

Check-out time is 11 a.m. Due to staffing and the large demand for cabins, extending check-out times has become increasingly difficult. If possible, we will gladly accommodate late check-outs with pre-authorization, availability and an additional charge. Otherwise, we respectfully request that guests honor our check-out time to minimize hardship on the staff and the next guest arriving.

Damages

You are responsible for leaving your accommodation in the same condition (with normal usage) as it was found when you arrived. The registered guest will be held responsible for any and all damages found during and after your departure. Should we find any unusual damage after your departure, an itemized invoice will be sent and your credit card will be charged appropriately.

Quiet Hours / Noise Ordinance

Due to our intimate setting, especially at the campground area, we ask that all volume levels for stereos, TVs etc. be at a non-offensive level. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. We strive to keep nature and seclusion a top priority.
