Driving Directions
From Mountain Home, AR
Travel US Hwy 62/412 heading south west through the town of Gassville. Continue traveling on US Hwy 62/412 to Cotter, AR. Look for the “Wildcat Shoals Access White River” sign. Turn right onto Denton Ferry Road ~ County Road 1. (If you cross the White River you missed your turn.) Follow County Road 1 for 4 miles. Turn left onto Rainbow Landing Drive ~ County Road 705 at the Rainbow Drive Resort Sign. Follow County Road 705 – Rainbow Landing Drive as it curves to the left for 1/2 mile to the resort.
From Mountain View, AR
Travel Hwy 5 heading north toward Mountain Home, AR. Take the US Hwy 62/412 Bypass southwest around Mountain Home. At the second stoplight, turn left onto US Hwy 62/412 traveling southwest through the town of Gassville. Continue traveling on US Hwy 62/412 to Cotter, AR. Look for the “Wildcat Shoals Access White River” sign. Turn right onto Denton Ferry Road ~ County Road 1. (If you cross the White River you missed your turn.) Follow County Road 1 for 4 miles. Turn left onto Rainbow Landing Drive ~ County Road 705 at the Rainbow Drive Resort Sign. Follow County Road 705 as it curves to the left for 1/2 mile to the resort.
From Flippin, AR
Follow Hwy 62/412 east. (Be careful to not take Hwy 62B to downtown Cotter). After crossing the White River bridge, turn left on Denton Ferry Road (County Road 1) and travel 4 miles to the Rainbow Drive Resort sign. Turn left onto County Road 705 as it curves to the left for 1/2 mile to the resort.
From Little Rock, AR ( The Short Cut -This takes about 45 minutes off driving time – the road is somewhat curvy so use caution).
Take U.S. 40 West through Conway. Follow U.S. 65 north to Marshall, AR. At Marshall, take Hwy 27 northeast to Harriet, then Hwy 14 north to Yellville. In Yellville, turn right and take U.S. 62/412 east through Flippin, AR toward Mountain Home. Stay on US 62 until you go across the White River. (Be careful to not take Hwy 62B to downtown Cotter.) Take the first left after you cross the White River (you’ll see a sign that says Wildcat Shoals Access/White River.) Travel County Road 1 for 4 miles, turn left at the Rainbow Drive Resort Sign. Follow County Road 705 as it curves to the left and you’ll run right into the resort.
From Harrison, AR
Take U.S. 62/412 east through Harrison, Yellville and Flippin, AR. Stay on US 62 until you go across the White River. (Be careful to not take Hwy. 62B to down town Cotter.) Take the first left after you cross the White River (you’ll see a sign that says Wildcat Shoals Access/White River.) Follow that road for 4 miles, turn left at the Rainbow Drive Resort Sign. From Yellville, AR
Stay on US 62/412 through Yellville and Flippin, AR until you go across the White River. (Be careful to not take Hwy. 62B to down town Cotter.) Take the first left after you cross the White River (you’ll see a sign that says Wildcat Shoals Access/White River.) Follow that road for 4 miles, turn left at the Rainbow Drive Resort Sign. Follow Rainbow Landing Drive as it curves to the left and you’ll run right into the resort.
From Midway, AR
Take Hwy 126 West for approximately 7-8 miles to the sign that says “Wildcat Shoals Access White River” (County Road 7). Turn right at the sign. Follow County Road 7 to the stop sign. Turn right onto County Road 1. (There will be a Rainbow Drive Resort sign at the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 1.) Travel 1 ½ miles on County Road 1 to the next Rainbow Drive Resort sign. Turn left. Follow Rainbow Landing Drive (County Road 705) until it dead ends at the resort (approximately ½ mile).
