We sincerely appreciate all the great things our guests say and we hope you’ll find their comments helpful on planning your visit to the White River and the Rainbow Drive Resort "How quickly we grow spoiled on the White! If we don’t catch our limit of "Keepers" in a day, we say the fishin’s no good. The joy of fishing is this: You bait your hook and you take your chances. Simply that. In the meantime, you dangle your toe in the crisp, clear water. You watch a beaver try to build a dam on a cove. You watch the herons fish, ever so elegant on their stalk legs and you wonder if their toes are as cold as yours. And then your pole dips! You leave work, stress, beepers, cell phones, faxes and e-mail behind. You don’t even have TV. You listen to the radio to hear how many generators are turned on at Bull Shoals dam. In the meantime, you put your brain in neutral, your neck loosens up on day 2 that’s when you go to bed at 8 o’clock and sleep like a baby until dawn. Pure peace.
