Details
Pack your bags and lets get outdoors!! This outdoor adventure packed special is
sure to wear out the kids! You'll be staying on the Famous White River in a charming
riverside Studio Cottage with 2 double beds, bath, full kitchen with dinette set and
screened river view porch.
Day 1
Arrive in the afternoon, familiarize yourself with the resort. Enjoy the half-day use of a
boat & motor, or canoe. Then it's an outdoor barbecue dinner for the family. All beef
hotdogs, baked beans, chips & S'mores around an open campfire. You cook the hot dogs
& s'mores, we'll do the rest.
Day 2
Hope you slept well...you'll need lots of energy for today! Dad & the kids meet us in
the bait shop for a breakfast of fresh-baked cinnamon rolls, coffee and juice before
departing on a half day of professionally guided trout fishing. Your fishing guide will
teach you all that you need to know to safely catch tons of trout. We GUARANTEE your boat
will catch trout. Mom gets to sleep in and have her breakfast delivered to her cabin -
this is Mom's day off, too.
After returning from their guided fishing
trip, Dad & the kids will have their fish cleaned or get a fish cleaning lesson. We'll
deliver a picnic lunch to your cabin. After lunch, head over to the ranch where the whole
family will enjoy a scenic Ozarks trail ride on horseback. A short twenty-minute drive
will take you to the horse ranch where you'll meet your trail guide. Take note; this is
not your typical nose-to-tail trail ride! Your trail guide will first assess your riding
experience and instruct you how to gently control your horse in any situation. It's a
terrific learning experience for children and adults alike!
After you have made a couple of turns in the
arena and all are comfortable with their horse, you'll depart on a trail ride through the
beautiful Ozarks, across meadows and through woodlands. A wonderful way to enjoy the
outdoos! For dinner, head to Sodies Fountain & Grill & Gift Shop. They've got
GREAT ice cream sundaes. In the evening enjoy a campfire on the lawn with S'mores &
stargazing.
Day 3
Wake up to the sounds of the birds singing. What's that knock on our door? More fresh
baked cinnamon rolls, coffee & juice being delivered to our cabin. Do we really have
to go home now? We can't wait to return to the Rainbow Drive Resort for more trout fishing
and outdoor fun!
